A key reason for us to become an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) approved provider was the flexibility and operational focus of the qualifications. The work based assignments help individuals cement the learning, transferring it directly into the workplace through projects focused on issues that really matter to both the efficiency and effectiveness of their leadership / team / the organisation.
Only Approved Providers are able to offer these nationally recognised qualifications.
Leadership, and a person's ability to engage with others, can make a huge difference to the productivity of teams. By exploring leadership and management through development programmes or coaching,we encourage individuals to reflect on how they do things, and where they could improve their effectiveness. In line with this we have chosen to focus on the following as they are more closely aligned with where we can add most value and where most of our clients have indicated they need most help.
Qualifications for junior managers – these qualifications aim to help individuals in their first management / leadership role. These qualifications are at Level 3, and we offer these as either management, leadership, or leadership and management qualifications.
Qualifications for middle managers – these qualifications aim to help individuals once they've been promoted into middle management where they need to lead and manager junior managers as well as have more input into budgets and organisational decision making. These qualifications are at Level 5, and we offer these as either management, leadership, or leadership and management qualifications.
Qualifications for senior managers – these qualifications aim to support senior executives as they lead their organisations.
Using these qualifications to align development through the organisation – our programmes allow alignment from first line management (Level 3) middle management (Level 5) through to senior management (Level 7).
Endorsed and Development programmes – we also offer ILM development or endorsed programmes which work on the same basis as the qualifications yet without the work based assignments. This has proved highly popular with organisations where the commitment of the assignments cannot be guaranteed. Individuals are able to upgrade to the full qualification if desired.

- Award in First Line Management (Level 3) for local authority;
- Certificate in First Line Management (Level 3) for healthcare organisation;
- Coaching programme for healthcare organisation (Level 3);
- Introductory Diploma in Management (Level 5) for roadside recovery organisation;
- Endorsed Leadership development programme (Level 5 equivalent) aswell as executive /middle manager coaching for third sector organisation.
